The First International Summer School on the MPI-M Earth System Modeling Framework has successfully been held in Hamburg from September 03 to 07 2007. 21 Participants from 9 countries enjoyed an interesting and stimulating series of lectures, hands-on sessions and assignments, plus a week in Hamburg with some limited time for sight-seeing and social events.
MPI-M intends to repeat this fruitful event and establish a series of summer schools. So stay tuned!

ISSMES Material Availability, New Program Version

The course material, assignments, presentations, and also the documentation for the models used will be pooled in zmaw‘s ftp server. The material will only be available from inside the zmaw network.
Room for Breaks changed

To make sure everybody feels comfortable during the breaks we needed to change to a bigger room for the breaks. They will now be held in room 133 of the ZMAW building, which is on the first floor.
